Test alert settings

After you have added or removed alert contacts or anytime you want to verify that alerts are being delivered on time and to the correct recipients, you can generate a test alert on a service-by-service basis.

To generate a test alert:

  1. Click on the name of the service you want to send a test alert for. You can do this either from the Dashboard or the Services window located on the left-hand side of the Services tab page.
  2. Click on the Diagnose sub-tab for your service.
  3. Click on the Test Alert link. A test alert will immediately be sent to all contacts listed in the Alert Contacts tab.
  4. Confirm that the message was received. The message should be similar to the following:
