What do the different error messages mean?

Error Message Description of the Error
Unable to connect to site at <url> Your web server at the given URL did not respond to the connection attempt.
Unable to resolve <url> (bad hostname) The IP address of the given URL could not be resolved - usually a DNS problem.
Unable to post to <url> with <formdata> A POST request to the given URL, with the given form data, failed.
Unable to get page, <error message> There was an error retrieving the page. The specific error is described by the given error message.
Unable to locate object, using <method> and <text> The script was unable to find the given object within the page using the given identification method and identifying text. (RIA)
Page download timeout exceeded threshold of <#> seconds Downloading the page took longer than the set timeout value.
Transaction timeout exceeded <#> seconds The entire transaction took longer than the set transaction timeout value.
500 Read Timeout/read timeout Downloading the page took longer than the set timeout value.
Broken pipe The established connection between the web server and the monitoring agent was lost prematurely.
Internal Server Error Your web server encountered an internal error.
Unexpected EOF before status line seen Your web server started a connection, but sent an empty response.
Search string '<string>' not found at <url> The given string was not found at the given URL, most likely due to an unexpected page being returned by your web server.
Error string '<string>' found at <url> The given error string was found at the given URL.
Page downloaded, but correct link not found at <url> The link that is expected to be in the downloaded page was not found, most likely due to an unexpected page being returned by your web server.
The requested file was not found at <url> The page that was requested was not found at the given URL, possibly due to the file name in the script being different than that on the server, or the file having been removed from the server.
Other All other errors are most likely actual text messages that your web server generated, and were returned word-for-word.
